Auxilia works with different French local authorities on the integration of sustainable development principles in their strategies and actions, on the basis of legal tools existing in France, including :
• The setting up of Local Agenda 21 (eg. City of Le Havre, city of Auxerre, Pays Créçois (intercommunality) …).
• The evaluation of development charters, environmental charters and local strategies from the perspective of sustainable development (eg. Urban community of Brest, Hyères…).
• interventions on urban renewal initiatives (eg. city of Bourgoin-Jallieu…).
• facilitation of participatory processes.
• Assistance for the development of a PADD, Local plan for urban planning and sustainable development (eg. village of Tigeaux…).
• Training and awareness raising activities for local authorities staff (eg. Region Haute Normandie...).
